Humanitarian projects

Study of a temporary hospital for Africa.

The KOMA modular system is undoubtedly an ideal solution for crisis areas. Regardless of whether this concerns a natural catastrophe or war conflict.

The KOMA system makes it possible to quickly relocate and assemble, for instance, a field hospital or school.

Centre for Mothers with Children in Ukraine

Last year KOMA joined the forces with the Diaconia of the Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren – Center for Humanitarian Help with the aim of helping organizations and regional authorities abroad. The goal of this project is to strengthen the independence and responsibility of chosen beneficiaries so that they are better able to provide quality services at the local level over the long term. The first project, which was cordially conferred to the local authority on 20 January 2016, is The Centre for Mothers with Children near Kiev. Two buildings were erected for the Farther’s House organization, which will provide accommodation for families from eastern Ukraine where there is conflict.

Modules for Good Pastor

Good Pastor is a community that helps people on the outer reaches of society to live with dignity – those needing help include: people without shelter or resources, former inmates, and those suffering from addictions. When the soul is cured, the body is also restored. These people are received back into the community, where they work.

Store for Moldavian Farmers

KOMA Modular provided a store in Moldavia for the use of Moldavian farmers in keeping with the KOMA for World humanitarian project initiative. Thus, we are able to provide assistance in the distribution of agricultural products in a country where there is a need. KOMA, together with the Diaconia of the Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren as a partner organization, embraced Moldavian farmers striving to develop small businesses in one of the poorest countries in Europe. The KOMA program’s basic principle is to support self-sufficiency and long-term sustainability. As there are no specialized shops for the distribution of ecological foods in Moldavia, our company provided a modular shop under the framework of this humanitarian project. The owner of the structure is a non-profit organization, Pro Cooperare Regionala, who cooperate with Diaconia in Moldavia, and, together with a sister company, KOMA Space, they manage the sustainability of the whole project.
