A pleasant summer modular greeting from Vizovice!
We are sending this to all modular architecture and construction enthusiasts – to our customers, supporters and also to those who visit our website in order to read our special newsletter, KOMA E-Bulletin.
We have a typical Czech summer here – hot weather followed by thunder storms and the occasional reprieve with cooler weather. It’s a pleasant change from the past few “tropical” summers. A new tradition is in the making where the end of spring and the beginning of summer are marked by increased enquiries about our CITY Modules. They were again an important part of the events that unfolded at the Zlín Film Festival, the Zlín Design Week, and Ynspirology put on by dancer and choreographer, Yemi A. D., as well as at the Moravian Slovakian Summer, at Cinema on the Border and at Colours of Ostrava. The CITY Modules had their premiere at the International Film Festival in Carlsbad, where they comprised the background for the Czech Television. They also featured in the presentation of new BMW models last year. CITY Modules have become an increasingly recognizable icon for our firm.
In addition to the success of CITY Modules, our company also draws attention on an international scale. KOMA was chosen as one of three companies to deliver modules to an EU agency over the next three years – the European Asylum Support Office.
In cooperation with VIVA and Tescoma, we have built on very successful handicraft incubators by renting mobile workshops.
This year we celebrated the 25th anniversary of our launch onto the market and, as we did five years ago, we opened the gates of our company for an Open House to let the public have a look into the “kitchen” of the modular construction leader. The event was enriched by attractions for all ages. Although the weather was not on our side, nearly half a thousand visitors had a great time anyway.
Thank you for your support, and we look forward to additional interesting projects.
