KOMA SLOVAKIA Implements HOM Skalité Modular Building

The municipality of Skalité is situated at the Slovak-Polish border, a few kilometres from the place where the Slovak, Polish and Czech borders converge. It is a beautiful mountain area in the northern part of the Kysuce Beskid Mountains. KOMA SLOVAKIA, our sister company which sells and leases KOMA MODULAR products, implemented a modular structure for The National Highway Company Inc. on the D3 Svrčinovec - Skalité highway. The preliminary construction work for the modules was undertaken by Váhostav-SK. An aluminium panel facade covering the building is done in the colours of the Bratislava National Highway Company logo. The openings are glazed with the Aliplast system using RC3 glass panels. The building has been granted a class B energy label (to 70 kWh/m2.a). The entire structure is equipped with floor heating; the lights are built into the suspended ceiling. The building is fully air-conditioned and the outside lighting employs special LED lighting fixtures with a high degree of IP66 protection.
