We Manufactured a Mobile Bata Module

An iconic piece of Zlín has become a reality — now set to embark on a journey across the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
At KOMA MODULAR, we had the honor of manufacturing a unique exhibition module created to mark the 150th anniversary of the birth of Tomáš Baťa. The project is the result of a collaboration between the Tomáš Baťa Foundation, the design studio MIUZA, which developed the concept, and our production team.
The module carries the symbolic dimensions of 6.15 × 6.15 meters — the basic structural unit of Bata-era buildings from the 1920s and 1930s. Its very form reflects the principles that shaped Zlín and modern industrial thinking.
Inside the module, visitors can find inspiration and explore the timeless philosophy of Tomáš Baťa — embracing work, innovation, education, culture, and social responsibility. These values remain highly relevant today.
The module will be presented at a number of prominent events and locations. Visitors will be able to experience it at Colours of Ostrava, the Zlín Film Festival, and the Barum Czech Rally. It will also travel to Prague, Brno, Třebíč and Trenčín. Each stop will bring a new context, but the same message — an inspiration that transcends generations.
We would like to thank the Tomáš Baťa Foundation, MIUZA studio, and all other partners and organizations involved in the project. Together, we have created a module that is not just a structure, but a carrier of ideas.
