Modu­lar Extensi­on on Hotel Roof

When KOMA Slo­va­kia began nego­ti­a­ting the pro­ject, its sub­ject was sup­po­sed to be the con­structi­on of a rela­xati­on cen­t­re for under 17 foot­ballers pla­y­ing in the UEFA Euro­pe­an Cham­pi­on­ships in Žili­na. Now the con­ta­i­ners that were pla­ced on the roof to pro­vi­de effecti­ve use of the housing are, are being used as a con­gress hall. The modu­lar extensi­on covers 229 m², is con­nec­ted to the ori­gi­nal buil­ding and con­sists of 11 Stan­dar­d­Li­ne modu­les. The extensi­on inclu­des the con­fe­ren­ce hall with sani­ta­ry faci­li­ties and an ante­cham­ber. The walls are pro­vi­ded with gyp­sum board and wood clad­ding. Hot water hea­ting is con­nec­ted to the hotel hea­ting system.
