Modular Boat on the Baťa Canal

On the bank of the Bata Canal in Veselí nad Moravou, we have created an unusual project – a modular boat that will impress with its original design and multifunctional use. This object, realized by our company KOMA MODULAR, represents a fundamental element of the local winery premises Dog in Dock and significantly contributes to the region’s development.

Multi-purpose structure for leisure and gastronomy

The boat offers three floors, each of which serves a different function. A restaurant is located in the ground floor, which serves food made from local ingredients and organizes wine tasting dinners with wine from the Dog in Dock vineyards. On the first floor you will find social and sitting facilities with glazed windows, which ensure constant contact with the surrounding nature and events in the area. The highest level, the viewing terrace, provides 360° views of the canal and the surrounding countryside.

Container architecture in a luxurious style

The used design and the cruise ship-inspired materials reflect the modern trend of container architecture, while the interior impresses with its sophistication and luxury. Visitors can admire oak flooring, designer lighting, wooden ceilings and tailor-made furniture. Every detail, from the wine glasses hanging overhead to the fishing nets in the balustrade, has been carefully selected to complement the overall nautical look and atmosphere.

The heart of the project – KOMA MODULAR modules

The base of the whole construction is 19 modules, which we have manufactured and delivered. Our modules not only enable fast and efficient construction, but also reduce the environmental impact during construction processes.

This project not only reflects our philosophy focused on innovation, sustainability and aesthetics, but also serves as an inspiration for future projects in the field of modular architecture.
