Modular Superstructure of the Malý Lapáš Kindergarten

We have realised the second modular extension of the local kindergarten within 8 years.

In 2016, we extended the original building by 7 modules, and in 2024, we completed the building with a superstructure of another 11 modules.

The build-up of the kindergarten started at the beginning of the summer holidays and the building was handed over for use before the start of the school year. This means that the capacity of the kindergarten was increased by 25 children in just two months, which would not have been possible with a conventional construction method.

Besides a fast and flexible solution, particular emphasis was laid on a high level of comfort. This includes a clear height of 3,000 mm, a complete boiler-room renovation and a new plaster façade rendering, thanks to which the modular solution is indistinguishable from conventional buildings.

Modularity is an excellent tool for quickly solving capacity shortages in school facilities, and it is obvious that, thanks to positive experiences, customers are returning to modular construction after several years.

It offers them namely superior speed, variability, flexibility and sustainable solutions.
